  • $900,000: in a medical malpractice case where the emergency room doctors failed to perform a CT scan and diagnose a subdural hemorrhage in a 75-year-old man on blood thinners who fell at home resulting in a brain injury.
  • $500,000: in a podiatric malpractice case where the podiatrist failed to properly diagnose and treat an infection in a 58-year-old man. As a result, a portion of this first responder’s foot was amputated.
  • $240,000: for a young man with cerebral palsy who was confined to a wheelchair. He was being transported to school when his wheelchair toppled backward because it was not properly secured, nor was he properly supervised by the bus matron.
